Rarely a fighter achieves legendary status but the Spitfire was destined to be such a rarity. It was more than a fighter, it was a symbol of victory to the british in their darkest hour.

I enjoyed doing this and hope you enjoy it :)

And my favorite is Mk IX, because my grandfather had such one when he was a RAF pilot :D

the IX is a classic, and a great plane. and the most masssive spitfire too XD (7500 and some i think)

No idea what Mk it'll be yet as its only in the first stages of being sketched. But might do it a mkIX as they most common after the Battle Of Britian.
